Dear HelpfulBrit, hello again. You planted corms of De Caen anemone. I googled the plant. They have beautiful and gorgeous flowers. A decade ago, I planted Anemone corms, but, they didn't survive to the next year. I remember that the shape of the corm is strange and looks like old shrunk garlic. It's interesting that they need to be planted like an upside down garlic. Japanese Anemone is blooming white now in my yard. They are popular flowers in autumn. 'A free journalist' isn't correct in English, has to be 'a freelance journalist.' In Japan people use this word, 'free journalist' in Japanese.
